In a world that urges us to move faster, Gathered invites you to slow down.
Sharing food has always been one of the oldest ways humans have built relationships. Yet despite being in a more digitally connected age than ever, many people are experiencing increasing loneliness and fewer opportunities for genuine conversation.
Modern life keeps us constantly switched on, disconnected from the natural rhythms that once shaped how we lived, ate and gathered.
Through shared meals in beautiful landscapes, conversations with local producers and experiences rooted in the land, we create moments that encourage presence, curiosity and a renewed appreciation for the world around us.
Eating seasonally reconnects us with the rhythm of the seasons. Instead of food being anonymous and always available, every dish becomes a reflection of the season and the people who made it possible. For more information, visit our FAQs page here.
Meaningful dining.
People don't come to Gathered just to eat.
They come to experience fresh food, immersive natural landscapes and community in a way that changes how they think about all three.
Luxury dining has become meaningful dining.
Luxury isn't white tablecloths and silver cutlery (although ironically we have both), it's eating ripe tomatoes in August that were picked that very morning.
It's listening in appreciation whilst the farmer who grew your vegetables tells you what time he had to set his alarm clock. It's having three uninterrupted hours around a table with people you've just met.
Gathered was born from laughter filled tables.
The kind that seem to stretch on for hours into late Summer evenings. Where someone tears into a warm focaccia before everyone has found their seat, too eager to resist the salty smell any longer. Where the burrata inspires smiles from one end of the table to the other. Where someone patiently yet fondly shows you how to shell a prawn again, and again, and conversations drift from strangers to stories before dessert arrives.
Some of my happiest memories have been made like this; outside, surrounded by good food, generously welcoming people and the feeling that, for a little while, there’s nowhere else I needed to be.
Over time, those moments started to feel rarer. Life became busier, meals became quicker, and gathering around a table became something we had to schedule rather than simply enjoy. Gathered is my commitment to creating more of those moments.
Every gathering celebrates the season we're in, the landscape we're sharing and the incredible people growing and cooking the food we eat. More than anything, it's about creating a space where everyone feels welcome, whether you arrive with friends or take a seat beside someone you've only just met.
I hope Gathered leaves you feeling a little more connected - to the land beneath your feet, to the food on your plate, and to the people around the table.
